Last year we 3D scanned a pig’s head for @janhendzelstudio as part of the creation of the now iconic pig’s head sign for @manteca_london
🪵🐷🍝
The 3D data was used to plot the reclaimed oak wood blocks taken from an old canal lock gate. The head was then hand carved and the ears were cast in bronze.
The 3D scanning was just a small part of many processes used to create the artwork. It is a fine example of how 3D scanning can be used in combination with traditional craft methods.

Early last year, we scanned a selection of physical assets for @stinkfilms new @barclaysuk advert directed by @watts_la

We set up onsite with multiple 3d scanners and photogrammetry rigs. This allowed the team to choose what assets they wanted digitising over the 3 day shoot and work closely with the VFX and props team for more creative freedom.
We took a selection of objects from the home and scanned them to be animated by the talented visual effects team at @mathematic.tv

Lamps, chairs, garden gnomes and a full body scan of the lead were made to fly through a digital world. The hero clock model was 3D scanned, rigged and animated.

Last year, we worked with the artist @thomasjprice__ to produce an artwork for the 2022 Hackney Windrush Commission.
We scanned over 30 Hackney residents with a personal connection to Windrush, from which Thomas created two new sculptures as a permanent celebration of the Windrush generation.
Price invited participants, ranging from 20 to 91 years old, whom he interviewed, and were then 3D scanned, capturing their stature, stance, clothing, features and posture, to inform the two constructed characters.

Earlier this year we worked with @charliecrobins @agilefilms to scan RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star @itstayce for @absolutuk campaign #borntomix
@itstayce and @chet__lo both looked amazing in Lo’s iconic spike texture designs.
They look fantastic digitised in 3D!

This project was inspired by @charliecrobins earlier work for @yellowdayss music video for his song ‘The Curse’, where we scanned the singer and his double wandered through a digital universe.
The campaign also featured the brilliant @institute_digital_fashion 💎
